Valerio & Stella

 

Valerio and Stella immigrated to the United States from Florence, Italy in 1995. On August 4, 1995, Valerio and Stella opened Valerio's Ristorante at the corner of Mayfield Rd. and E. 120th in Cleveland's Little Italy. Thirteen years later, they relocated just up Mayfield hill to 12405 Mayfield Rd., the current location. Twenty years later, Valerio's Ristorante reamins one  of Cleveland's favorite authentic Italian restaurants.

Chef and Owner

Born in the small town of Carbone located in the Southern Italian region of Basilicata, Valerio had a passion for food at a very young age.  Trained through a Florentine culinary school, Valerio Iorio learned to master the many flavors and techniques of Italian cuisine. Using simple, yet fresh products, Valerio creates genuine Italian dishes  while also including many dishes from the different regions in Italy.
