Valerio & Stella
Valerio and Stella immigrated to the United States from Florence, Italy in 1995. On August 4, 1996, Valerio and Stella opened Valerio's Ristorante at the corner of Mayfield Road and E. 120th in Cleveland's Little Italy historic district. Thirteen years later, they relocated just up Mayfield hill to 12405 Mayfield Road. Thirty years later, Valerio's Ristorante remains one of Cleveland's favorite authentic Italian restaurants.

Born in the small village of Carbone, located in the Southern Italian region of Basilicata, Valerio had a passion for food at a very young age. Trained through a Florentine culinary school, he learned to master the many flavors and techniques of Italian cuisine.
Using simple, yet fresh ingredients, Valerio seeks to provide guests with the flavors and authenticity of Italy, from north to south.
